actually i wld have got back at half eleven. but thanks to dale and gwyn, i had to drive PAST my house to their house. and the journey their took like such a longer time. somemore i picked up gwyn also. and becos i drove there i cldnt drink...hai. i was looking forward to having one actually. so long never touch liao...
but anyway the party was for Dave Skillett's bday, and Robyn also. and the theme was hollywood awards night. so suppose to wear like nice clothes and stuff...
and i bought this t shirt from burtons like post christmas sale ages ago. its like banana colour. not damn nice la.
then on monday when i went lakeside shopping with skillett and dale (which by the way was dam funny..), i bought two vests from primark for 5 pounds each.
so i put the two together, plus my sisters' hat and tada:
lol. not bad la huh. and guess what. at the end of the night, they actually had awards to give out. amongst them best dressed girl, best dressed boy, best raver and best drinker. the judges were robyn, dave, his sister and her frens. and i think largely becos of my cap, i got the the best dressed boy. lol. somemore he left it right at end of all the awards then announce. lol. paiseh lei. now i got a trophy that says: "dave and robyn's 18th. best dressed boy". lol.
but anyway to more exciting stuff!!
like the snow that happened a month ago for instance. it was amazing. the deepest snow ever. just look at it!!! i actually cld build a snowman and throw a snowball. for the first time in my life of course. it was so mystifying and beautiful. i cldnt believe it when i woke up and saw all that...
felt very at peace. and in wonderment.
oh btw, the funny thing that happened when we went shopping was we had lunch at pizza hut. buffet. and then me and dave got ice cream. and we just started messing about wif it. whilst dale try and be mature and stuff. so funy la. i also dunno why, me and dave were jus in stitches. we were like putting ice cream in the coke and trying to get pepper in each others ice cream. lol.
and oh this is my car covered in snow pretty right? whoever comes visit me can get free ride ; )
driving is sucha new experience. makes me feel so...i duno..old? like nowadays i need to go frens house, parties, etc i have the option of driving. no more dependence sort of thing. which is abit unsettling.
and like now i got new responsibilities. like safe on the road obviously, and also like send mum around, send sis around etc.
but i must say i am enjoying it at the moment so its all well ; )
oh yea another thing. i luckily went to the emirates to watch brazil take on portugal. i made sure to bring along jiaa, cos i did promise her to bring her to a proper football match!!
and i must say though i hate the bastards (sorry) that are arsenal, its a lovely stadium.
but ridiculously expensive.
but oh my the atmosphere was quite amazing. we were doing waves and stuff like that. for extended periods of time lol. what pissed me off the most was ppl kept booing ronaldo. if i wasnt feeling ill right, i wld have stood up and shouted (chanted): "theres only one ronaldo! theres only one ronaldo!" but i was too ill and cold to do anything then to sit and watch.
and i felt very lucky to watch the likes of:
gilberto : whom i thought was one of the outstanding players. u dun understand how good he is until u watch him play live. every ball he receives he takes it down with one touch, and picks a pass perfectly straight away. somemore sometimes his passes are not simple ones, but flicks and all that. and so rarely misplaces a pass. i thought he was amazing.
kaka : close control was good. but didnt impact much. but still to see him was quite exciting.
adriano: lol. legend.
diego: ok la.
lucio: good defender.
those were all brazilian. Portuguese were
CRISTIANO RONALDO: what can i say. outstanding. not becos i am manutd fan. but becos he contributes so much to an attack and he scored 16 goals this season in the league already. 16 for a winger is amazing. when he runs, no one can stop him la my goodness. so dam fast. somemore his dribbling and close control. i saw his 360s and stuff. and he made ppl look like idiots la seriously. i love him lol
deco: good ball control and distribution.
carvalho: finally see a chelsea idiot. sucks la.
ferreira: ditto
simao: saw him score!! haha. my family walked out of the stands already. cos if u leave a football game early then u might survive the rush. if not u will be stuck in the trains and traffic (human and car) for hours. but me and jia walked more slowly and as we turned back for one last glance, saw simao get the ball and hammered it into the net. woooo. shoik.

oh i am currently reading mitch albiom's latest book. and CELL. i think they are pretty good reads. mitch albiom hasnt disappointed me yet.
i have a friend (alicia). she went to thailand during the half term break. i made her a list of to do stuff and to eat stuff. heh she tried tom yam on the first day, and her family got hooked and had it everyday for the rest of the holiday. hahahha. i love it when ppl here appreciate asian food.
and she sent me a postcard that teaches me how to make tom yam soup lol.
