okie so the day began as usual, breakfast, which comprised roast chicken from tesco's with tortilla wraps or white bread and cherry tomatoes and nice englishy sweeet milky tea.
then at abt 2ish we left home, me my dad and my cousin. off to manchester!
and these were oh-so-precious tickets. hahaha!!! i still keeping it. cant believe we actually bought it and planned the trip la. considering we got scoo on tuesday. drive up to manchester takes 3 and a half hours and the match kicked off at 8 pm, ending at abt 10 ish pm. and dun forget when u got 70,000 ppl all getting out of a stadium, traffic effectively stops and it takes forever before u get out of the general area. but still. whooo!! oh the seats we got were the north stand, opposite the dug-out the big one, and 4th, 5th and 6th rows. we all sat separate seats cos ticket allocation was only limited to individual seats. but still we were dam near each other, like i can turn around and talk to my dad lol. yea anyway...later u can see how near the pitch we were. amazing!!
on the way, we saw this van, and i cant help but take a pic of it la wah lau. its hilarious ahhha!!! UK ERECTING SERVICES Ltd. hahaha wah lau eh. its like a joke la.
ta-da! We went in the stadium abt 1 and a half hours early to soak up the atmosphere and everything. as u can see it is quite empty right now. later it will house 69,391 fans (i think that was the attendance that day...).
oh before the match we had a burger, with mustard and onions and watever. done up on the road side. good ole match day burger stalls ahaha.
after some time, TIM HOWARD came out to warm up, and he came out to applause and claps from the fans. quite cool la. and some coach was like from outside the area jus whacking balls at him for him to catch, whack so hard and so accurate la wah lau. lol. then came EDWIN VAN DER SAR. one of the best goalies in the world right now. he is dam tall and willowy la. and these players right, when they came out, they will like walk to the fans and start clapping. haha dam cool. i walked down to the pitch side (walled by a waist-height gate) and jus watched them warm up. amazing !!

aaa. cult hero. VAN NISTELROOY. looks like he is focusing huh. pity he cldnt do the same when the penalty came. i was seating with like fans that were like quite quiet la dunno why!! ppl in the other stands were cheering so much and standing up and i tell u, the noise was exhilarting. i was the only one in my whole surrounding area that was standing up and shouting and swearing (ya la cant help it. heat of the moment. that dirtbag fabio rochemback, keep doing cynical fouls on ronnie, our pet name for ronaldo. haha!). oh by the way, the arse there is ronaldo's ahahah!!
RIO FERDINAND and RONNIE sharing a laugh haha. oh before the match VIDIC and ronaldo were like talking alot. dunno why like keep sharing jokes and they were having a little passing game between the two of them.
louis saha again. and RYAN GIGGS. both brilliang players. ryan is a legend la. like one of the all time best players. interesting point: he was the only player on the pitch before kick off wearing tracksuit bottoms.
GARY NEVILLE, john o shea and ruud and saha again. oh yea before kick off, they will announce the team sheet. so the announcer goes: "number 9, louis saha!!" and the fans will go: "oweeeeeeuuuu!!!" haha quite cool. and when he announces ruud, everyone goes in a low voice: "ruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuud!!!"
WESLEY BROWN, just about to trap a ball hence the funny pose. him, SILVESTRE, rio and o shea were having a kick about, and they were like whacking long balls to each other to header. so accurate la wah lau. siao one.

and this is one of the few pics i took during the actual game. i was too busy watching and cheering and jeering to take pics. its park trapping the ball in the 2nd half. he played dam well la park. was dribbling past ppl and all that. its great to see him do well.
next season gonna apply for man utd membership. get priority to get tickets to watch them play away and home. then can watch my heroes more! :D it was awesome la. the people all cheering together for the same team, watching the players with their skills (esp ronaldo on the wing, basket, so fast can hahaha...), and realising these players are flesh and blood like the rest of us. i said this before and i will say this again, ANYONE and EVERYONE MUST WATCH AT LEAST ONE LIVE GAME IN THEIR LIVES. its AWESOME. i cant imagine whats its like to play in front of a crowd like that week in week out. whhhooooo!!
