okie let's see...
last week school was pretty much mundane and normal. nothing much happened...but i had my first tuition session with the year 11 student (that's the year jus below me). was teaching him abit of everything. cos first session just trials ma. trigo, co-ordinate geom, etc. then at the end of the lesson:
ben: "so..how much are u looking for me to pay you?"
me: "erm. what did ur dad say about it then?"
ben: "well...how much are u looking for me to pay you then?"
so i reckoned he and his dad prolly worked out an amount for me liao. just trying to see what kinda price i would quote. cos i if quote like lesser, he can pay lesser what.
me: "well. mr bremnar said between 10-15 pounds right?"
ben: "okie, heres the deal then, my dad said 12.50 pound per hour?"
me: "alright! sounds fine with me!"
then he took out his wallet, and paid me an advance of 25 pounds. rounded figure ma. easier to pay. so that settle his next two hours.
just to be nice, i let him have the first session for free. he asked me whether i was sure, and i was like it was only a trial anyway, so i wldnt charge you. hee hee. my first income man!! how cool.
hopefully can get more students that are looking for help. right now i am prolly going to tutor ben 2 hrs a week. if i can get another student, that would be 50 pounds a week, smth i really wldnt mind.
okie apart from that, this saturday, i had my first driving lesson.
it was amazing!
i drove like damn far away la, to like two, three towns away liddat. if anybody using google earth, can see the distance from UPMINSTER to like RAINHAM. i went alittle bit beyond that also actually. all the small and busy roads. wah lau. aft i drove out of my little road, the first place we turned out to was the town centre la. SO MANY CARS. i had to turn out. flash indicator, step on the clutch, find the biting point of the clutch and gas and whatever. wah lau. somemore like stall once or twice. lucky kept my nerves. later started getting the hang of it. and soon was pretty much driving at speeds of about 35 mph (abt 55 km/h) and changing gears smoothly and everything. then had to signal arh, use the handbrakes, turn and whatever. quite alot to take in on the first day. but my goodness, it was so FUN la. i am so glad my instrutor like let me do alot of stuff and trust me alot la. lol. but she did say i LEARN FAST k!! say i pick up like quite quik. wooo!!! nxt lesson on wed!! cant wait. GET MY LICENSE QUIKLY MAN!!
but dunno whether can buy car when i get my license not. so ex. somemore my mum wants to share also. then she prolly gonna get an AUTO transmission license. no fun to drive one la auto. cannot change gear. : p
today watched man u and liverpool play. WAH LAU. IT WAS SO GOOD. i dun rmbr celebrating a man utd goal and victory in such a long time. as in in such a manner as well. 90th minute RIO FERDINAND come and run in and headed in such a dam nice goal la!! I WAS SHOUTING AND JUMPING around with my sis and dad. hahah!! SO FUN.
mum's bday coming up. gonna make her smth really nice. need to work my brain juice on that!
wed got bio test. transport in flowering plants.
and i talked to fawn yesterday!! so late somemore. i came back home from driving then sms (online) her. she was at her PARTY!! :) ... anyway then i had to go out for lunch. as i got in the car, then i realise i forgot all abt TENNIS TOURNAMENT at my club. i had ten minutes to get down there la. so my family went for lunch, i went for tennis, then i got home by about 1 am singapore time. i saw fawn online! so then ended up calling and talking for 1 hr plus la. really happie just to hear her voice!! i always enjoy these phone convos. rahhh.
get to speak to her tmr again. but its not say smth i excatly look forward to.
and i found a food court here. IN ENGLAND! more abt it nxt time!
