okie the tennis courts are really quite nice...i like it...it resembles the hardcourts in singapore more than the astro turf does. the play is fast and the bounce is quick and medium height. the ball doesnt skid also. results in long rallies and it feels much more tennisy than astro turf does. but dunno why today the courts are like all empty. i thought alot of ppl would be playing lor.... this coming wednesday...got the experiment part of biology coursework to do. from 9 am to 3 30 am. thats six hours of experiment. its for a level one. so i kinda need to prepare myself i think. i done all the planning bit of the coursework liao...got fullmarks for it which is good. can get better marks for a's! my experiment is: investigate the effects calcium ions have on the activity of fungal rennin on milk. interesting? fun? nahh... this is more interesting and fun: thats fireworks from bon fire night! anyway i got stuff to do. sigh dunno how to ever finish.... :)
on saturday: i had football training, then after that a football match. then at night i went out with olllie, rob, kuran, james, danny, and some others to watch a movie and have a quik dinner.
we met at upminster station at 7....took the train to lakeside. the return ticket cost 3 pound 50. so ex la. jus for a train ride. but that was the first time i took the train. lol. so quite cool la.
and oh ya...its so cold nowadays....and its only autumn...the temperature nowadays in the morning and night can be like as cold as 0 degrees. when i go to scoo in the morning or walk home at night, the road is frosted over...u can actually slide with ur shoes. lol. then all the cars are frosted over as well. and the field also. like a white shimmering thin blanket. like white hair liddat. quite cool. literally cool...lol.
everytime i go out now i need to wear two shirts and a coat. and no more shorts man. not even for sports. sports i wear tracksuit bottoms with shorts in it. and a must have is GLOVES. if not my hands become so numb...that i cant even feel anything and cant even close properly...its that cold!! and oh...ankle socks are a thing of the past....u will get cold la. jus not possible.
sorry for digressing. anyway watched harry potter and ate macs. harry potter wasnt that great? didnt really live up to the hype i thot. for those who read the book..i think it was kinda disappointing. but for those seeing it for the first time...i think it was prolly quite good.
caught the 9 oclock show. had half and hour of adverts. and the show ended at like 11 50? or smth liddat. we jus caught the train. we had to run all the way to the station in the cold. brrrrrrr.
anyway kuran came to stay over at my place. we ended up sleeping at 4 30 am. played pro evo like mad...and talked alot.
and today, sunday, i went and play tennis with simon. its been a long time since i played so well and so fun with anybody. we're kinda same standard (he's got a good serve and he can hit the ball quite hard...consistent also. wah lau everytime i hit shots that are like corner and hard kind he jus run there and dive and still get the ball over la...). it was a great game. tho i lost. lol. 2 sets to 1. not bad la. haha. but really play dam fun...we rally so long and hard. had some great points.
we played in an indoor court...carpet flooring. quite fun. much better than astro turf. no way i will play on astro turf anyways nowadays...its so cold la. 4 degrees. siao. i hav to wear a few layers to play. and later tho i would warm up, my hands wld be FREEZING.
