shipment frm singapore finally arrived a couple of days ago. 100 boxes of stuff. cant fit in our small rented bungalow. so we had to sort out what we need and what is not neccessary in the immediate few months. the job of sorting and shifting everything was needless to say, tedious and abhorent. a real nightmare. but now we kinda sort out much of the stuff. and after countless trips with a totally packed car (literally, all the rear-view mirror revealed was brown boxes staring back at u..) back and forth frm garages and houses...the number of boxes has dwindled down considerably. still...the house looks unorganised...and my room looks like a war-torn area.
my personal computer is still in a brown box in the kitchen. however i did manage to extract some dvds and my ps2 out of the carnage. ahhaha. watched "dude where's my car?" and spent some time playing (oops i mean testing!!) the ps2. heee.
in singapore...i had my beloved car bed. or rather the BMW. hahaha. now...i wld expect to hav some decent bed and bedsheets and stuff. well...for now i am using an old bed frm my relative's. i bought a nice navy blue duvet cover (which is like a thick comforter. like in hotel's that kind...), and beige yellow pillow covers. its a nice contrast...however i hav no bed sheet yet. and now i am making do with an old SNOOPY bedsheet. WEEE. hahahah. so cute yea. RIGHT. hahah. but not that it matters i guess. when i off the light cant see anything. haha.
and nowadays no more aircon...but if u eva feel hot, jus need to open ur window. cold breeze will come flowing in...and sometimes i marvel at how the different the weather is here. compared to hot and sunny singapore.
today..for the umpeenth time, i traveled down to coopers scoo to see the status of my application. the headform teacher has been getting countless calls frm parents in the past month and i doubt he had anytime at all to sort out my case...luckily my cousin (an ex-student) has been in and out to see him and help me get things sorted as well. anyway today he kinda confirmed my place in scoo. the only problem being that chemistry classes in the triple science course is kinda full now. mite not be able to accomodate me. so i can either drop physics and take psychology...or jus hope the teacher wld accomodate extra me in her class as well. anyways regardless of what subject combination i start with...lots of students wld change courses after one term...and i plan to eventually take 5 subjects, namely the three sciences, maths and psychology. psychology is a humanities subject...and by doing it...i will hav a more all rounded education...which shld aid me in getting into medical scoo. thats the idea anyway. i am doing physics purely out of interest. cos it doesnt really contribute to helping me do medicine anyway.
and the thing is scoo starts tmr...i am suppose to report tmr to see finally whether they can find a form (class) for me. i got no scoo uniform. so i think i am wearing my SAJC white shirt and my black jeans. ahha. so farnnie lar but who cares. i so want to wear the full SAJC scoo u again. but uniforms here are quite different. got blazers, and stuff liddat. vv formal. like working ppl liddat. hahaha. cant stand looking so old and mature. roar.
and i jus want to write abit about soccer here. ahhaa. CHELSEA hav all the LUCK. if not for all the LUCK, they would not be sustaining a 100% WIN RECORD like MAN UTD now. they are so freaking lucky. they hav it all their way with lucky strikes, red cards, shin-goals. war lau. MAN UTD HAD TO PLAY WELL AND WORK HARD FOR THEIR VICTORIES. thats all i want to berate abt chelsea. roar.
anyway i think i am off to play tennis now. havnt been playing in some while. so yea. need to keep fit. which reminds me. i weigh 62.3 kg. officially k. i weigh myself on the OSIM electronic weighing thingey that i shipped over frm singapore. TOLD YA THAT WEIGHING MACHINE I USED IN CORNWALL was SPOILED. that mechanical weighing machine said i weighed 65 KG la. rubbish. haha. i knew i didnt gain so much weight. though i do admit i eat abit more than i did in singapore.
oo and everynight i hav been drinking a cup/mug of milk. hoping to grow somemore. hahah. naive me.
and i read abt the NKF scandal. my goodness. that durai guy is such a bum. HE EARNS SO MUCH MONEY CAN. at the expense of us. its like u know u watch the donation show arh when the meter jumps frm 10 ,000 to 50,000 to 100,000 then finally to 600,000 dollars, then we used to think: "all that money is for a good cause...", now we all know that all that money goes into the frigging durai's pocket. imagine that. and i read somewhere which described the situation quite humourously. durai went to court against SPH didnt he. and that exposed his FAT salary....so in a way..that idiot scored an own goal. hahahhaha. nice one man. some asian country like thailand or malaysia shld get him to play as central defender in tiger cup...liddat singapore can retain the tiger cupp already. woo.
but if u think abt it, his annual salary including bonuses was like 500,000..and that really is alot of money. cant believe he earn so much as a CEO of a CHARITABLE organisation. its jus so wrong. morally and ethtically wrong.
okie. i am running off. gonna play tennis. havnt played for so long. then come home...get ready for scoo tmr. hahaha. wish me luck! scary day!!
