been kinda caught up with happenings and sometimes....i need to find the right moment to blog...
anyways...this is gonna be a short update...cos its way past bedtime already. haha. got scoo tmr.
so...school has been going alright. making frens, meeting new ppl. but it still is vv different frm singapore here. thats like DURH. ppl are more liberal and well, direct. so ya...
the lessons are going along fine...jus that most of what i do in maths in done in sec scoo already. so my teacher gave me the 2nd term module to look at first. and i saw stuff like integration to find areas, mechanics, which again we covered in A mths O lvl. so i dunno. the teacher said if i go too far ahead...i will get bored later anyway. so i really dunno what to do now la. when he teaches in class, i usually find some questions, frm topics i am kinda rusty in like diffrentiation, and attempt them in class. the teacher is fine with it...so well. guess i will do that for now.
chem is alright. doing equations, stoichmetry, etc. kinda revision like really.
physics is quite different though. nothing like i've seen it yet. as in we are learning abt materials now. vv D&T like. and the other topic we are doing is imaging. which is quite different too.
biology is really up to date. pretty much like JC style. first test coming on friday. haha. shit.
well, on friday i got invited to go to my scoomate's suprise bday party at this restaurant and then head to the pub later. so i went along. kinda a chance to bond more with my mates and stuff. so yea. everyone had a bottle of beer and stuff. drinking culture here i guess. i had only one bottle. and a can of cider afterwards. haha anyway we didnt get into the pub lar. BOUNCER. haha. so yea headed home with ppl afterwards. showed me the way arnd and stuff.
football trials. some players here are really dam zai can. i saw some breathtaking long shots and saves. hoo boy. anyway i am playing for the 2nd team now. i prolly do soccer on a 2nd team basis until nxt yr. see how it goes. tennis is only a summer sport. and the courts are rubbish too lar. its painted TARMAC. so its like road surface kinda thing. and the wind blows alot over here in england. and they hav no wind shields, so its pretty messy. i was kinda disappointed by the tennis courts.
not shure what i am doing this wkend. mite be mountain biking with mates. go downhill and mini hills and stuff. haha see how it goes. and paintball is coming up. this is real scary stuff. i played in singapore before, but they had this big divide where we cldnt cross. over here...pointblank shooting is allowed. OUCH. and they hav stuff like paint grenades and stuff. and OH...NO BODY VEST AND STUFF CAN. only a small padding on the chest, and a helmet. die lar.
and air tickets to singapore in christmas period is so expensive. last time my dad checked, 1000 us dollars. thats alot of money.
wish some ppl can like jus fly over and experience life here with me. its so different and diverse. i wonder what it wld be like for them...or rather...i wonder what it wld be like WITH them.
and for awhile i was fooling with the idea of joining rugby. haha i still mite.
mind ya, cricket looks real fun too. haha.
