oh and i decided to TRY and stop hahahaing in my entries. hard to read and distracting hor? maybe need more british slang. blimey. better start writing now...
so back to the main topic: spain....
the beach was wide and beautiful. the sun was hot and nice. the water was cool and refreshing. this i mentioned before right? haha.
okie to more exciting stuff:
we went go karting twice during the spain trip. my goodness that was great fun. i rode in cars that were meant for 18 yrs and above. me and my cousin as well. boy did those cars go fast. they are low riding karts. meaning the floor ( or the track if u wanna be technical) is very near ur body. u hav to step on the accelerator really hard to get it going. but once it speeds up, it can go VERY VERY FAST. luckily it is quite safe. no chance of it flippping since it is so low-riding (low centre of gravity!!)...but u do tail-spin if u are not careful when taking corners (either too fast or too sharp)...we had to wear helmets and stuff. i was doing brake turns and all. quite fun. my family (eleven of us...plus my uncle's side...which comprised aunt, and their 4 sons...one son was in portsmouth working...) all rode in one. hahaa. racing one another in helmets. going round the tracks like some speed demons. it was carzy fun. vv soon, u will be sweating ur shorts out and ur helmet and ur palms. hah. everyone's gotta try go-karting sometime.
oh we went on quad bikes as well. but that was dangerous. its not low riding. my cousin flipped over when he cldnt work the clutch. though he said he could at the beginning. hahaha. silly fella. i used a semi automatic one. so no need clutch for shifting gears (they didnt have any more big manuel quad bikes left. all my older cousins took it...)...so anyway, when my cousin said he will ride the smaller manuel one, the big fat man incharge of the quadbikes said: "u sure u can do the clutch??" and my cousin jus went: "yea i can" and he got on it. well. later the guy sent him back frm the course after he fell. and when we all came back, the big fat man was dam sarcastic lar, like going: "u shure that guy understands english? or u can tell him in ur language abt the clutch...". he kept going on abt my cuzzzie no understanding english. my dad, fed up, went up to him and: "no disrespect sir, but i think his english is better than yours...(after all he works in spain, how good is his english? almost every local there dun speak english lar!)... lets not mix up driving and language skills alright?".. the big fat man straight away shut up. lol. oh well.
to get to these places, we had to sit taxis. the funny thing was the drivers dun speak english one. i was talking to one of these drivers:
jason: 'how long till we reach fuengirola??'
driver: 'eticisa aksdjald sdkhldflas jhlhafkdh shlahsf'
jason: 'har?'
driver: *motions to his mouth* *shakes hand*
jason: 'oh alright...nevermind then...its okie!'
haha. at the end of the journey after we pay:
jason: 'gracias!!'
driver: 'gracias amigo!!'
hahah...funnie right...
on wednesday, we went for dinner at this sea-food restaurant on the coast. my goodness was the meal scrumptious. it was delectable. it was INCREDIBLY DELICIOUS. mouth-watering i tell u. all the seafood were freshly caught in the morning. for starters we had fried baby squids, grilled cuttlefish, and boiled prawns, and steamed garlic scallops. MY GOODNESS. i dun need to elaborate further. it was seafood that cld rival singapore. in fact might be even fresher and tastier (mind u, the only time i ate food here thats better than singapore), the grilled cuttlefish is quite a funny dish though, cos the ink sacs are still in when grilled. so when u eat them or cut them, all the ink comes out. my whole mouth and tongue was black. so was my plate. but it was good food nevertheless. haha.
for the main course, we had THREE BIG FISHES. one was seabass BAKED IN SEASALT. INCREDIBLE. the fish was quite big. then a GRILLED GAROUPA! it was HUGE Man. so big! gargantuan. my goodness. and the last fish was another saltbaked fish, but wasnt shure what species it was. SO MUCH FISH MEAT K. IT WAS GREAT. with their restaurant special TAR TAR sauce. amazing stuff. most fresh and succulent fish i eva had. esp the seabass. amazing fish. really was.. wish everyone cld hav tried what i had. washed the meal down with fanta orang soft drink and later, a cup of beer. finally, had baked apple for dessert. amazing meal.
oh well. eleven of us. two children and nine adults. guess the cost of the meal. my uncle paid for it. crazy. exorbitant like wat sia. it was 548 euros. exchange rate is abt X2.4? or smth like that. crazeee.
okie. i bought some stuff in spain too. let's see: i got a blue adidas shirt. a plain one. light blue, with dark blue sleeves and light blue stripes. or smth liddaat haha. its quite nice. and sunglasses. me and my sis bought a pair each. ray-bans. nice.
watched some beach football matches. competive ones. amazing. the scissors kick from the striker, the long range shots. the skill. haha. the tenasity. brilliant stuff.
and to end all this up: haha. got lots more actually, but got more to write abt england,
these two british girls were beside us one day. then one took her top off. and then sunbathed. then...this waiter working at a restaurant beside the sunbeds came out, looked at them and said: "perrfect!!"
pervert eh. he was duely sacked. haha. not sure whther it was because ppl complained abt him.
